SITES TO VISIT IN ALLEGAN:

The Sunset Motel is located just a few minutes from the Allegan State Game Area and the Allegan County Fairgrounds.

In the summer one can enjoy the hiking trails in the State Game Area, or picking of many different kinds of fruits or movies in the local theater, all only a few minutes from our location.  Downtown Allegan also provides for a fun and educational experience for people of any age.  You can also enjoy the many beaches, lakes, multiple golf courses and the many festivals that take place throughout spring, summer and fall in the area.  Also during fall, many color tours are available.  In September, the Allegan County Fair provides fun and entertainment for all, with attractions ranging from rides to petting zoos to concerts. In the winter, nearby ski slopes and snowmobile trails offer an opportunity for fun for all winter-lovers.  Over 200 miles of snowmobile trails are available to our guests directly from their room door!
